The International Talent Entrepreneurship Conference (ITEC) is an annual event held in Beijing's Chaoyang District, focusing on global entrepreneurship. Entering its 13th edition in 2025, ITEC includes the Global Entrepreneurship Competition, promoting innovation and entrepreneurial talent.

ITEC’s "one policy for one enterprise" approach offers customized support packages to award-winning projects, focusing on talent, industry, and space. The goal is to attract top-notch projects and talent to Chaoyang District by fostering development through technology, capital, services, and strategic connections.

The ITEC Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park, covering 6,066 square meters, is the permanent venue for ITEC. It supports global entrepreneurship through exhibitions, talent development, and enterprise empowerment. Over the past 12 years, ITEC has drawn over 60,000 entrepreneurs and 14,000 global applications, leading to 1,100 companies settling in Beijing and attracting over 33 billion RMB in investments.

Why you should join?

For disruptive technologies and strategic talents, ITEC will implement a tailored, "case-by-case approach," ensuring additional resources are allocated for comprehensive support. This includes help with talent acquisition, industry networking, funding, and workspace.

In December, the award ceremony will coincide with an Innovation Summit, bringing together top-tier innovators and stakeholders. This event celebrates technological achievements and explores collaboration opportunities through award recognition, project exhibitions, and the appointment of international talent ambassadors.

The ITEC Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park will provide space support services for award-winning projects for three consecutive years. The space allocation will vary based on the award level, ranging from 100 to 500 square meters.

Eligibility & Tech Verticals

General Eligibility Requirements

Company Age: Eligible enterprises must be established within the last 10 years. Early-stage startups and unincorporated teams are also welcome.
Listing Status: Publicly listed companies are not eligible to participate.
Chaoyang Development Consideration: Finalists and awardees may be invited to explore future opportunities in Beijing’s Chaoyang District. While this is not a requirement to apply, award-winning teams may receive support and incentives to consider local development.
Submission Limit: Each applicant may submit only one project for consideration.
Past ITEC Winners: Previous winners may apply again but are not eligible to win the same or a lower-tier award.
Sector Relevance: Projects must showcase meaningful innovation aligned with the competition’s designated tech verticals (listed below).

Selection Criteria

The judging panel consists of investors, industry experts, technical experts, and representatives from relevant industrial departments of Chaoyang District.

Innovation: Evaluate the startup's uniqueness and creativity, including any competitive patents.
Market Potential: Assess the market size and viability for the startup's offering.
Team Capability: Consider the skills and experience of the startup's team.
Traction: Examine the startup's progress and interest from users, customers and investors.
Scalability: Can the business grow rapidly and efficiently?
Financial Viability: Determine if the business is financially sustainable and attractive to potential investors.
Application Quality: Evaluate the quality of the application, including the pitch deck and clarity of responses.
